Our newest department, Chowtown Artist Management would like to welcome our friends from Australia... Melbourne's own...."84"

As you all well know, Chowtown Studio has a great affiliation with artists from across Australia. While on business there last year, we were invited to an 84 show on behalf of their management. Apparently, they were fans of our work (having heard such previous releases from other local Melbourne artist such as 72 Blues and Konqistador). As luck would have it, we managed to catch a show of theirs and absolutely loved them! So much we asked them on the spot to consider us to helping bring their music to America. The rest is history....

Chowtown is happy to say that 84 will be recording their next full length release over here in Detroit this summer! Along with recording and releasing the new album our partners over at Chowtown Artist Management decided to send our guests off on a small mid-west U.S. tour too!....We figure if they can survive the heat down south will send 'em up north, Canada bound to get their asses really rocked! "Great White North" style...oooh I can feel the cold already mates...don't bother bringing your surf boards. Once again, we hope you all look out for the release of 84's upcoming recording and check the guys out on tour in September 2006!
